My Eversewn Maker monthly projects have started! Each month I’m committed to somehow challenge myself with new projects and/or techniques. For July’s star spangled themed project, I decided to tackle tiny pieces and blocks. Normally I RUN from these. However, I can officially check them off my to-do list!

I chose the free Chandelier pattern by Lella Boutique, but with modifications to the block size. The fabrics are mostly Riley Blake Basics in Texture, Plaid, Blossom and Confetti Cotton.

In keeping with the theme, I also tried a new free motion quilting design… Stars! Jacki and I didn’t do too shabby for this first time around. YAY! One more new thing to add to this month!

Next month is a “beat the the heat” theme. That’s hard to do here in Georgia, but I think I’ve found something that will do just the trick!

Until next time,

~Shereece
